Designed on paper.Delivered on site.

Handling your entire project lifecycle across Ghana. I blend meticulous digital visualisation with hands-on site management to build spaces that last.

Selected work

Five projects, and what each one actually asked for.

Every project here shows the thing that made it difficult: the slope, the existing building, the unit mix, and what I did about it.

The completed MBK Residence at Aburi: a long low house stepped into a green hillside, with a cantilevered pool terrace over an exposed concrete sub-basement.

MBK Residence

Aburi Jamaicaso, Eastern Region

949sqm Built 2020–2021 Net-zero residence Design, visualisation, site

The site falls 26 metres from its highest point to its lowest, on the windward slopes of the Akuapem Togo range. Rather than cut a flat platform, the house was set into the slope: a 320sqm sub-basement holding parking, plant and a gym, with 670sqm of living space above it on a raft foundation, and a shaded terrace connecting every zone to a partially cantilevered pool.

The building sits 35° off the north–south axis, balancing solar gain against the view. Three-metre overhangs shade the most glazed façade. Every habitable room cross-ventilates, so the air conditioning is rarely needed. A 20kVA solar array covers 90% of household energy, and 660sqm of roof catchment feeds rainwater harvesting.

I produced the project's visualisation, supervised a substantial part of construction through to handover, and prepared the EDGE assessment and green-building submission. IFC recognised the house in the Home category of the EDGE Green Building Challenge in October 2022.

The completed Charlene Residence at night, its remodelled façade lit from within, with the angled carport canopy running out towards the driveway.

Full remodel Built

An existing house taken back to measured drawings and rebuilt. I surveyed the property on site, drafted it in CAD, developed the scheme to final design, and designed the carport and front façade feature with its construction details. On site I coordinated the structural and mechanical engineers and supervised the artisans executing the façade.

Aerial massing view of the Herel Development: apartment blocks along one edge of a sloping site with a row of town houses stepping down the other.

Design completed Unbuilt

Studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, penthouse duplexes and town houses in one scheme. The site sloped steeply enough to be a problem; it became the answer instead: sub-basement parking tucked under the fall, and a stepped multi-level layout that gave every block a different relationship to the ground.

I worked with the design team on concept and design development across the typologies, led client and stakeholder engagement through the design stages, and built the 3D model for the whole development.

The Miya Residence entrance building at dusk: a lit gatehouse with a glazed gym above the vehicle gate and a signage panel along the boundary wall.

Accra

17 residences 2025 to present On site Design and site supervision

A gated development of seventeen homes: four two-storey three-bedroom units, five three-storey four-bedroom units and eight two-storey four-bedroom units, with a shared entrance building carrying an 80sqm gym above the gate, a 90sqm pool court, a 50sqm pharmacy, a facilities office and a gate house.

I was brought onto the project after construction had already started, to improve the existing designs, develop new ones where they were needed, and support delivery on site. Working inside a live build means every design decision has to survive what is already in the ground.

Interior visualisation of the Nova apartment living area: an open-plan living and dining space with a console, lounge seating and a dining table set against a grey wall.

Nova Apartment

Accra

One-bedroom unit 2024 Interiors and visualisation

A compact apartment worked from measured layout through sections, interior isometrics and finished visuals. Small plans are unforgiving: the twenty-one square metre living area has to hold a sofa, a dining table and a route to the kitchen without any of the three getting in the way of the others.

Drawings and renders produced end to end. It is the same set a client uses to approve finishes and a contractor uses to build.

Technical sets available on request

The drawings behind the renders.

Three sheets from a thirteen-sheet A1 construction set: site layout, elevations, sections and details, all drawn to be built from.

Master layout: plot divisions, roads and walkways at 1:200
Elevations: the entrance facility, all six faces
Sections and details, with the stair callout at 1:25

Full A1 construction sets, details and schedules for most projects here. Happy to walk through any of them. The drawings say more about how someone works than the renders do.

About

On a mission to build Africa’s future, one site at a time.

I studied architecture at Central University and spent seven years at Fusion Design Studio in Accra, where I worked on residential and commercial projects from the first site visit to handover, at least three a year, most of them the kind where the drawings and the building are the same person's problem.

Since 2024 I have been running my own practice, taking on design, documentation, visualisation and site work directly for clients and developers. I completed the Ghana Institute of Architects Professional Practice Examination in 2026.

The work I am proudest of is a net-zero house on a hillside in Aburi that the IFC recognised in 2022. It barely needs its air conditioning, makes most of its own electricity, and was hard to build. That combination is roughly what I am after.
